Designed for those with no prior experience who want a taste of diving without committing to a full course. Undertake a classroom session, have your dive equipment professionally fitted and enjoy a supervised shore dive with a qualified instructor.

10 and 11 Year old certified divers wishing to dive on Lizard:

In Australia, to learn to dive you must be 12 years and above, but if a 10 and 11 year old are already certified internationally they can dive with us. They will have a limit of 12m diving depth and must hire a private guide to ensure the safety of the diver, and have a parental supervision present on the dive.

 Junior open water divers aged 12- 14 years old wishing to dive on Lizard:
Limit of 18m as per certification and must have parental supervision present on the dive. If the juniors have logged over 20 dives, they are welcome to join the shared certified diver group. If the juniors have under 20 logged dives, they will be required to hire a private guide, along with a parent or guardian present on the dive with them.

Junior open water divers from 15-18 who have not converted to Open water divers on their card:
Return to normal restrictions as Open water divers, they can pay a fee to PADI or SSI (whichever agency they are with) to convert them from Junior open water divers to Open water divers. This automatically rolls over to Open by the age of 15, but it is their responsibility to call their agency for a new card. They can dive without parental supervision in the water, but parental supervision must be at on the tour.
